Product Name:

AF488 Anti-Human CD150 (SLAM)

Catalog Number:

306312

We optimized and incorporated SLAM-AF488 into a multi-color fluorescence cytometry panel focused on characterizing peripheral TFH cells. We measured SLAM on pTFH cells in human PBMC from HIV- and HIV+ subjects. We selected this product based on how it fit into an already-established fluorescence cytometry panel.

Results Summary

While optimizing SLAM-AF488 within a bigger panel we measured SLAM expression on B cells, CD4 T cells, and CD8 T cells at 24, 48, and 72 hours with and without SEB stimulation (1ug/mL). The results show that 0.1uL SLAM-AF488 works well to detect SLAM expression on all the cell types (as expected highest on B cells, but clear bimodal expression is visible on the T cells as evidenced in the dot plots).

Summary

The Good

Works great using only 0.1uL per sample; played well in a 10-color fluorescence panel

The Bad

Can't think of anything bad.

The Bottom Line

Great option for measuring SLAM if your AF488/FITC channel is open!!
