Detection

SuperSignal West Pico Chemiluminescent Substrate (Thermo Scientific)

Results Summary

The mouse mAb #627901 from Biolegend is an excellent IgM antibody to detect alpha-tubulin in human tumor cell lysates. It is exceptionally sensitive and specific: there is no non-specific bands in our blots and it could be used at a relatively low concentrations ranging from 0.1 to 0.5 microgram/mL. This antibody could be used either following the detection of the protein of interest or simultaneously (provided that the secondary antibody would not recognize the primary antibody for the protein of interest).

Additional Notes

The antibody can be reused up to 10-15 times if stored at -20oC after blotting.
