Product Name:

BV711 anti-mouse CD4

Catalog Number:

100557

CD4 is expressed on a subset of T cells in thymus, spleen and peripheral lymphoid organs. Although the expression of CD4 might change during an ongoing immune responses, it is considered as a lineage marker i.e., CD4+ T cells always express it at some level. I used this antibody to detect CD4+ T cells in mouse splenocytes. The staining was relevant and background was minimal. However, BV711 is very close to BV786 which made it difficult to compensate when both colors were used in the panel.
