Polymorphonuclear neutrophils form a primary line of defense against bacterial infections using complementary oxidative and non-oxidative pathways to destroy phagocytized pathogens. These cells contain a battery of hydrolytic enzymes that normally are utilized for the degradation of foreign materials ingested as part of the phagocytic process.

Fixing cultured cells in 3% paraformaldehyde. Storage of Anti-Neutrophil Elastase antibody: Always at -20°C (stock solution). We dilute the stock solution to the final working concentration according to the manufacturer instructions (1:70 in BSA-PBS).
