This antibody was used as part of a flow cytometry panel to identify cells isolated from human synovial tissue by enzymatic digestion. In particular this antibody was used due to the conjugate working well with other pre-selected antibodies.

30 minute incubation at 4oC. Live/dead stain. Antibody used at 5ug/ml.
No specific blocking step. 2% FCS in staining buffer.
30 minute incubation at 4oC. Antibody cocktail used at this point containing anti-CD117 at 5ug/ml.

The antibody worked well detecting CD117 positive cells in a difficult population of cells to stain. The background was little even given the 'sticky' nature of the cells yielded from the synovial digest.

Antibody worked well on difficult cells.
Unable to decrease antibody working concentration from suggested starting concentration.
The antibody performed as a good antibody should with little non-specific binding.
