Peritoneal leukocytes were being assessed for various markers and dead cells were excluded using an amine reactive dye (Tonbo Ghost 510). Compensation for this dye was performed using ArC amine reactive compensation beads.

Incubated with 1ul Ghost 510 fixable live/dead dye analyzed detection via LSRII Flow Cytometer.

ArC amine reactive beads gave a very bright signal for the live/dead dye, made compensation easy.
Brighter staining than dead cells
Using ArC compensation beads with my amine reactive dye gave me a better compensation matrix and better data than using dye positive cells as a positive sample.
