We have tried this antibody multiple times in hopes it would work as a measure of ER stress chemical or physiological induction of ER stress using thapsigargin or the saturated fatty acid palmitate.
Western Blot
Total cell lysates of H4IIE rat hepatoma cells.
1:500 in 1:3 OB:TBST (0.1% Tween) overnight at 4 degrees C.
1:3 Odyssey Block: TBS for 1 hour at room temperature
1:15,000 goat anti mouse IRDye in 1:3 Odyssey Block: TBST (0.1% Tween 0.02% SDS)

Although this dilution happened to be 1:500, we have tested this antibody as high as 1:100 and have gotten little to no signal. Tossed it and won't be purchasing again.

Everything. Can't detect the faintest band to indicate if the protein is even present.
Don't buy it. Try Abcam as they at least give you a refund if the antibody doesn't work.
