Company:

Bosterbio

Product Name:

Anti DISC1 antibody

Catalog Number:

PA2023

We tested several anti-DISC1 antibodies that are commercially available on the market. However, we found that this rabbit polyclonal anti-DISC1 antibody from Bosterbio company is the best one. We have used this antibody for IF, WB and IP purposes in NIH3T3 and Jurkat cell lines. WB at 1:1000 dilution gave a single band of DISC1 at around 100 KD. DISC1 has lots of isoforms of different sizes, but the major species is 100 KD which we could not detect using antibodies from other companies. Since Bosterbio DISC1 antibody comes in lyophilized condition in absence of any carrier proteins, we could also use this antibody by cross-linking with agarose beads using Thermo Direct IP kit.
