FoxP3 is expressed by regulatory T cells (Treg) in mice and is a master regulator of Treg function. Since FoxP3 is a transcription factor, it requires intracellular staining. Most antibodies cannot stain FoxP3 in the nucleus; so the expression is not bright. This clone from eBioscience shows bright and distinct staining for FoxP3+ Tregs.
