Product Name:

Live/Dead near-IR stain

Catalog Number:

L10119

Our lab is concerned with studying the transcriptome and signaling changes that occur during transitional B-cell development. This is a major checkpoint in peripheral tolerance where autoreactive B-cell clones are purged. The live/dead stain is used in all experiments to gate out dead cells preventing misinterpretation of flow data.

Results Summary

This live dead stain works great for detecting dead cells. Prior to use, cells must be washed with PBS only to eliminate serum which can inhibit staining. This stain can be used for surface staining as well as intracellular fixed staining. It can be combined with a streptavidin conjugate stain.

Additional Notes

Dilute stock powder 1:50 in DMSO and then make working solution 1:500, then add 1:1 with cells
