This experiment was planned to test the time course effect of growth factor on mammalian cell line. Cells were cultured, quiesced and treated with growth factor for different time points. Protein was extracted in RIPA buffer. Equal amounts of proteins were resolved in 10% SDS-PAGE, Western transferred and probed with VEGFD antibody procured from Santa Cruz Biotechnology.

Results Summary

VEGF-D (H-144) Antibody from Santa Cruz Biotechnology worked very well and got a very specific band at 40 kDa. The ECL intensity of VEGFD signal of was very good at desired molecular weight. However, there was a marginal/low effect of growth factor observed.
