I wanted to measure GluR2 protein levels in brain tissue homogenates via immunoblot. The bands visible in the blot were not crisp and clear, but still at the appropriate weight. No side bands were immediately visible.

Hazy bands at the appropriate weight. No bands at inappropriate weights.

Not a good picture for fluorescent blotting.
This may work better for chemiluminescence, but this gave acceptable results.
