Company:

BioLegend

Product Name:

IL-27 ELISA kit

Catalog Number:

438707

I use this product for assaying the level of IL-27 in serum samples from mice that are injected with zymosan. While the kit is extremely simple and good and requires small serum volume, it is a bit expensive for only one plate and does not offer many choices like other kits. I would recommend this one over the R & D Systems kit.

Experimental Design and Results Summary

Application

Assaying the levels of IL-27 heterodimer in serum samples

Starting Material

Mouse serum samples

Protocol Overview

The kit was used per protocol in the kit. I could bring down my volume of serum from 50 to 20ul and everything else remained the same as per the manufacturers protocol.

Tips

Individual strips tend to fall off while washing with another company's plate adapter.

Results Summary

Standards generate good curve on 4 paramenter or linear graphs and serum samples are detected easily.
