ATM is a major transducer kinase that regulates DNA damage response and cell cycle checkpoint. Interaction of ATM and MRN complex (MRE11-RAD50-NBS1) is critical for regulating DNA damage response after ionizing radiation. The objective was to immunoprecipitate ATM and check the protein interactions.

This A300-299A ATM antibody is very sensitive and specific. It efficiently immunoprecipitated ATM from extracts of HeLa cells. Western blot showed that the immunoprecipitated ATM associates with NBS1.
