In this interview with Merck's Musaddeq Hussain we discuss a novel and highly-sensitive method using digital PCR for residual host cell DNA quantification, which can be used in multiple bioprocessing steps. The method also eliminates the need for DNA extraction making it faster and easier to quantify DNA.
