Using CRISPR Interference to Screen for Cancer Drug Resistance

In this app note, a CRISPRi platform is used to probe development of resistance to the BRAF inhibitor vemurafenib in cancer. The authors hypothesize that a CRISPRi system would allow a subset of cells in the population to become resistant to vemurafenib treatment due to decreased gene transcription.
