Dickkopf Related Protein-1 (Dkk-1)
From Biovendor
Dkk-1 is a negative regulator of the Wnt signaling pathway, which has been implicated in the development of several types of cancers. Repression of Dkk-1 results in activation of Wnt and may be a factor in oncogenic transformation in colon cancer and mammary epithelial cell transformation. Increasing concentrations of Dkk-1 were significantly associated with tumor progression and decreased survival in patients with lung cancer. The superior assay sensitivity is characterized by the LOD of 10 pg/ml. The assay has been validated to measure Dkk-1 in serum. more »
