The Eppendorf CryoCube® F740 series combines Eppendorf's tradition of high quality with a 740 L (26.1 ft3) capacity and eco-friendly coolants to store more of your samples securely with optimal energy usage. Traditional polyurethane foam insulation is enforced by vacuum insulation panels in the freezer body and door ("i" versions), providing advanced insulation protection. All CryoCube F740 series freezers are designed to maximize sample protection while providing simple ease-of-use:
- Easy-to-read, eye level control panel and alarm status
- Insulated and sealed inner doors to minimize cold air loss while accessing samples
- Special low-temperature outer door seals to allow gaskets to remain flexible at -86 °C and prevent ice buildup
- Natural, hydrocarbon coolants (R290/R170) for high energy efficiency with low impact on the environment (SNAP compliant)
- Shelves with air slits for fast temperature adaption
- Full stainless steel interior for easy cleaning during maintenance and defrost cycles
CryoCube F740hi and F740hiw models additionally feature an intuitive touchscreen interface with electronic locking and user access control for added security. Onboard temperature and event logging may be viewed on the screen or conveniently exported via the front-mounted USB port. ENERGY STAR® certification and ACT label validation from My Green Lab ensure their energy efficiency and low environmental impact. These models are also VisioNize-enabled for easy connection to VisioNize Lab Suite to monitor your freezer from any location.
