Description
The Gene Pulser Xcell System is a flexible, modular electroporation system for transfecting every cell type from primary, suspension, and difficult-to-transfect cells, including T cells, to bacteria and fungi. The system is composed of a main unit, two accessory modules, the capacitance extender (CE module) and the pulse controller (PC module), and a ShockPod cuvette chamber.
Features and Benefits of the Gene Pulser Xcell Electroporator - Universal electroporation — transfects all cell types, from primary, stem, and T cells to bacteria and fungi
- Flexibility with your experiment parameters for the highest transfection efficiency and viability
- Preset protocols — ready-to-use preoptimized protocols for frequently used mammalian and bacterial cell types
- Manual operation — allows for entry and storage of new parameters or editing of all parameters
- Optimization protocols — enables the best conditions to be determined using incremental voltage steps
- Exponential and square waveforms — allows for optimal delivery
- Confidence in your results — uses PulseTrac circuitry and arc-protection features to ensure sample protection and reproducible results
- Save time optimizing
- Protocol library — collection of electroporation protocols for every cell type including primary, immortal, and bacterial cells
- Prevalidated published protocols — saves time optimizing conditions
- Easily accessed data management — storage and recall of parameters and results from previous 100 experiments, useful for troubleshooting
