Plasma derived from peripheral blood is collected in HemaCare's FDA-registered collection centers following cGMP and cGTP collection guidelines from IRB consented healthy human volunteer donors. By default, plasma is separated from whole blood which has been collected in a Citrate collection tube. If possible, HemaCare will utilize any commercially available special collection tubes with anticoagulants per your specifications. Plasma can be provided in fresh or cryopreserved format
