Overview
During the resolution phase of inflammation the elimination of chemokines from the inflammatory milieu is accompanied by nonphlogistic clearance of corpses of apoptotic leukocytes by macrophages. Here, a method that determines the role of these apoptotic leukocytes in the termination of pro-inflammatory chemokines, like CCL3 and CCL5 was established. By Charles N.
