| Hate your hemocytometer? Get accurate counts of mammalian cells in under 60 seconds! The NucleoCounter uses an integrated fluorescence microscope to detect signals from a fluorescent dye, propidium iodide, bound to the cells' nuclei. The resulting counts provide total cells or viable cells, depending on sample preparation. PC software enables data logging as well as viewing counted cell area. (Each count requires one NuceloCassette™ and aliquots of Reagent A100 and Reagent B – sold separately.) |
