CMTR2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein cap methyltransferase 2, which is encoded by the CMTR2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a S-adenosyl-L-methionine-dependent methyltransferase that mediates mRNA cap2 2'-O-ribose methylation to the 5'-cap structure of mRNAs. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 770 residues and a mass of 88.1 kDa. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Other alias names for this target include FtsJ methyltransferase domain containing 1, adrift homolog, cap2 2'O-ribose methyltransferase 2, and cap-specific mRNA (nucleoside-2'-O-)-methyltransferase 2.
There are CMTR2 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
