These hACTE-III ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of hACTE-III in biological samples. hACTE-III is an alias name of the human ACOT8 gene, which encodes the protein, acyl-CoA thioesterase 8. Notably, hACTE-III is known to play a role in metabolic processes, among other functions. The ACOT8 protein is described to be 319 amino acid residues in length and 35.9 kilodaltons in mass. It is localized to the peroxisomes of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is notably expressed in a T-cell line. Other names for this target antigen include HNAACTE, NAP1, and PTE-1.
