These CABYRe ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of CABYRe in biological samples. CABYRe is an alias of the human CABYR gene, which encodes the protein, calcium binding tyrosine phosphorylation regulated. The protein is believed to function as a a regulator of both motility- and head-associated functions such as capacitation and the acrosome reaction. The CABYR protein is 493 amino acid residues in length and 52.8 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 6 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be expressed in elongating spermatids and spermatozoa. This protein is known to be phosphorylated. Other names for this target antigen include CABYRa, CABYRc, and CABYRc/d. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
