These Ia-GAMMA ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of Ia-GAMMA in biological samples. Ia-GAMMA is an alias of the human CD74 gene, which encodes the protein, CD74 molecule. Notably, Ia-GAMMA is known to play a role in cell proliferation and intracellular protein transport, among other functions. The CD74 protein is described to be 296 amino acid residues in length and 33.5 kilodaltons in mass. Its subcellular localization is in the ER, golgi, lysosomes, cell membrane, and is secreted. In terms of tissue specificity, it is notably expressed in urine. This protein is known to be O-glycosylated. Other names for this target antigen include CLIP, DHLAG, and HLADG.
