RAB27A ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein RAB27A, member RAS oncogene family, which is encoded by the RAB27A gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a Small GTPase which cycles between active GTP-bound and inactive GDP-bound states. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 221 residues, a mass of 24.9 kDa, and is a member of the Rab protein family. It is known to be localized in the lysosomes and membrane and is reported to be found in all the examined tissues except in the brain. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The RAB27A gene has been associated with the disease, Griscelli syndrome. Other alias names for this target include HsT18676, RAB27, RAM, ras-related protein Rab-27A, GTP-binding protein Ram, and GS2.
The detection range for different RAB27A ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
