These KAP ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of KAP in biological samples. KAP is an alias of the human NAPSA gene, which encodes the protein, napsin A aspartic peptidase. Notably, KAP is known to play a role in proteolysis, among other functions. The NAPSA protein is described to be 420 amino acid residues in length and 45.4 kilodaltons in mass. It is known to be a secreted protein. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be highly expressed in adult lung (type II pneumocytes) and kidney and in fetal lung. This protein is known to be glycosylated. Other names for this target antigen include Kdap.
The detection range for different KAP ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
