QRFP ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein pyroglutamylated RFamide peptide, which is encoded by the QRFP gene in humans. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 136 residues, a mass of 14.9 kDa, and is a member of the RFamide neuropeptide protein family. It is known to be secreted and is reported to be widely expressed in the brain with highest expression levels in the cerebellum, medulla, pituitary, retina, vestibular nucleus, and white matter. Other alias names for this target include P518 precursor protein, RF(Arg-Phe)amide family 26 amino acid peptide (P518), prepro-26RFa, prepro-QRFP, and orexigenic neuropeptide QRFP.
Some QRFP ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 30 ng/L and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
