YBX2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein Y-box binding protein 2, which is encoded by the YBX2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a major constituent of messenger ribonucleoprotein particles (mRNPs). The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 364 residues and a mass of 38.5 kDa. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is reported to be expressed in oocytes and testicular germ cells in the stage of spermatogonia to spermatocyte. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally phosphorylated. Other alias names for this target include CSDA3, DBPC, MSY2, DNA-binding protein C, alternative protein YBX2, and CONTRIN.
Some YBX2 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
