The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 130 residues, a mass of 14.7 kDa, and is a member of the SAA protein family. It is known to be secreted and is notably expressed by the liver; secreted in plasma. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated.
