These Kallikrein 7 ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of Kallikrein 7 in biological samples. Kallikrein 7 is an alias of the human KLK7 gene, which encodes the protein, kallikrein related peptidase 7. Notably, Kallikrein 7 is known to play a role in epidermis development and proteolysis, among other functions. The KLK7 protein is 253 amino acid residues in length and 27.5 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 2 protein isoforms have been identified. It is known to be a secreted protein. In terms of tissue specificity, it is found to be highly expressed in the skin and is expressed by keratinocytes in the epidermis. This protein is known to be glycosylated. Other names for this target antigen include PRSS6, SCCE, and hK7.
Some Kallikrein 7 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 41.2 pg/mL and as high as 560 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
