Atp8a1 ELISA Kits

ATP8A1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein ATPase phospholipid transporting 8A1, which is encoded by the ATP8A1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a catalytic component of a P4-ATPase flippase complex which catalyzes the hydrolysis of ATP coupled to the transport of aminophospholipids from the outer to the inner leaflet of various membranes and ensures the maintenance of asymmetric distribution of phospholipids. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 1164 residues, a mass of 131.4 kDa, and is a member of the Cation transport ATPase (P-type) (TC 3.A.3) protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane, cytoplasmic vesicles, ER, golgi, and cytoplasm. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally cleaved. Other alias names for this target include ATPIA, ATPP2, phospholipid-transporting ATPase IA, ATPase II, and ATPASEII.
