These L-asparaginase ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of L-asparaginase in biological samples. L-asparaginase is an alias of the human ASRGL1 gene, which encodes the protein, asparaginase and isoaspartyl peptidase 1. The protein is known to have both L-asparaginase and beta-aspartyl peptidase activity. The ASRGL1 protein is 308 amino acid residues in length and 32.1 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 2 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be expressed in the brain, kidney, testis and tissues of the gastrointestinal tract. This protein is known to be cleaved. Other names for this target antigen include isoaspartyl peptidase/L-asparaginase and L-asparagine amidohydrolase.
The detection range for different L-asparaginase ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 78 pg/mL and as high as 50 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
