HCAR3 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein hydroxycarboxylic acid receptor 3, which is encoded by the HCAR3 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known receptor for 3-OH-octanoid acid mediates a negative feedback regulation of adipocyte lipolysis to counteract prolipolytic influences under conditions of physiological or pathological increases in beta-oxidation rates. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 387 residues, a mass of 44.5 kDa, and is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane. Other alias names for this target include HCA3, HM74, PUMAG, Puma-g, G-protein coupled receptor 109B, and GPR109B.
Some HCAR3 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.15 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
