F5 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein coagulation factor V, which is encoded by the F5 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a reported central regulator of hemostasis. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 2224 residues, a mass of 251.7 kDa, and is a member of the Multicopper oxidase protein family. It is known to be secreted and is notably expressed in plasma. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated, cleaved and phosphorylated. The F5 gene has been associated with the disease, Factor V deficiency. Other alias names for this target include PCCF, RPRGL1, THPH2, activated protein c cofactor, coagulation factor V (proaccelerin, labile factor), and FVL.
There are F5 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 3.125 pg/mL and as high as 5000 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
