CEP57 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein centrosomal protein 57, which is encoded by the CEP57 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a centrosomal protein, which may be required for microtubule attachment to centrosomes. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 500 residues, a mass of 57.1 kDa, and is a member of the Translokin protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. As many as 5 protein isoforms have been reported. The CEP57 gene has been associated with the disease, Mosaic variegated aneuploidy syndrome. Other alias names for this target include PIG8, TSP57, centrosomal protein of 57 kDa, FGF2-interacting protein, centrosomal protein 57kDa, and MVA2.
There are CEP57 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
