B3GAT2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein beta-1,3-glucuronyltransferase 2, which is encoded by the B3GAT2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be involved in biosynthesis of L2/HNK-1 carbohydrate epitope on both glycolipids and glycoproteins. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 323 residues, a mass of 36.9 kDa, and is a member of the Glycosyltransferase 43 protein family. It is known to be localized in the golgi and is reported to be expressed in the trachea, retina, spinal cord, hippocampus and other brain regions, and, at lower levels, in testis and ovary. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include UDP-glucuronosyltransferase S, UDP-glucuronyltransferase S, glcAT-D, glucuronosyltransferase S, and galactosylgalactosylxylosylprotein 3-beta-glucuronosyltransferase 2.
Some B3GAT2 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
