ANO3 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein anoctamin 3, which is encoded by the ANO3 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to have calcium-dependent phospholipid scramblase activity; scrambles phosphatidylcholine and galactosylceramide (By similarity). The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 981 residues, a mass of 114.7 kDa, and is a member of the Anoctamin protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and is reported to be highly expressed in the forebrain striatum. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. The ANO3 gene has been associated with the disease, Dystonia. Other alias names for this target include dystonia 23 and transmembrane protein 16C (eight membrane-spanning domains).
The detection range for different ANO3 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
