These c-myc binding protein ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring specific protein levels in biological samples. c-myc binding protein is an alias of the human MYCBP gene, which encodes the protein, MYC binding protein. Notably, c-myc binding protein is known to play a role in the regulation of transcription and spermatogenesis, among other functions. The MYCBP protein is described to be 103 amino acid residues in length and 12 kilodaltons in mass. It is localized to the nucleus, mitochondria, and cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be highly expressed in heart, placenta, pancreas, skeletal muscle and kidney. Other names for this target antigen include AMY-1 and C-Myc-binding protein.
The detection range for different c-myc binding protein ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 78 pg/mL and as high as 40 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
