MERTK ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein MER proto-oncogene, tyrosine kinase, which is encoded by the MERTK gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known receptor tyrosine kinase that transduces signals from the extracellular matrix into the cytoplasm by binding to several ligands including LGALS3, TUB, TULP1 or GAS6. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 999 residues, a mass of 110.2 kDa, and is a member of the Tyr protein kinase protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally phosphorylated and glycosylated. The MERTK gene has been associated with the disease, Retinitis pigmentosa. Other alias names for this target include RP38, Tyro12, c-Eyk, c-mer, tyrosine-protein kinase Mer, MER receptor tyrosine kinase, STK kinase, and MER.
There are MERTK ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 11.72 pg/mL and as high as 80 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
