CLP1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein cleavage factor polyribonucleotide kinase subunit 1, which is encoded by the CLP1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a polynucleotide kinase that can phosphorylate the 5'-hydroxyl groups of double-stranded RNA (dsRNA), single-stranded RNA (ssRNA), double-stranded DNA (dsDNA) and double-stranded DNA:RNA hybrids. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 425 residues, a mass of 47.6 kDa, and is a member of the Clp1 protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The CLP1 gene has been associated with the disease, Pontocerebellar hypoplasia. Other alias names for this target include hClp1, polyribonucleotide 5'-hydroxyl-kinase Clp1, ATP/GTP-binding protein, cleavage and polyadenylation factor I subunit 1, and HEAB.
There are CLP1 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.22 ng/mL and as high as 50 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
