GAL3ST4 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein galactose-3-O-sulfotransferase 4, which is encoded by the GAL3ST4 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to catalyze the transfer of sulfate to beta-1,3-linked galactose residues in O-linked glycoproteins. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 486 residues, a mass of 54.2 kDa, and is a member of the Galactose-3-O-sulfotransferase protein family. It is known to be localized in the golgi. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated.
