E2F4 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein E2F transcription factor 4, which is encoded by the E2F4 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a transcription activator that binds DNA cooperatively with DP proteins through the E2 recognition site, 5'-TTTC[CG]CGC-3' found in the promoter region of a number of genes whose products are involved in cell cycle regulation or in DNA replication. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 413 residues, a mass of 44 kDa, and is a member of the E2F/DP protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and is reported to be found in all tissue examined including heart, brain, placenta, lung, liver, skeletal muscle, kidney and pancreas. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally phosphorylated. Other alias names for this target include E2F transcription factor 4, p107/p130-binding, p107/p130-binding protein, and transcription factor E2F4.
Some E2F4 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
