These VARS ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of VARS in biological samples. VARS is an alias of the human VARS1 gene, which encodes the protein, valyl-tRNA synthetase 1. The protein is known to catalyze the attachment of valine to tRNA(Val). The VARS1 protein is 1264 amino acid residues in length and 140.5 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 2 protein isoforms have been identified. Other names for this target antigen include G7A and NDMSCA.
