VAMP5 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein vesicle associated membrane protein 5, which is encoded by the VAMP5 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is believed to participate in trafficking events that are associated with myogenesis, such as myoblast fusion and/or GLUT4 trafficking. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 116 residues, a mass of 12.8 kDa, and is a member of the Synaptobrevin protein family. It is known to be localized in the golgi and cell membrane. Other alias names for this target include myobrevin.
Some VAMP5 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
