LRP4 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein LDL receptor related protein 4, which is encoded by the LRP4 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to mediate SOST-dependent inhibition of bone formation. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 1905 residues, a mass of 212 kDa, and is a member of the LDLR protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and is reported to be expressed in bone; present in osteoblasts and osteocytes. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. The LRP4 gene has been associated with the disease, Cenani-Lenz syndactyly syndrome. Other alias names for this target include CMS17, LRP10, MEGF7, SOST2, low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 4, and CLSS.
Some LRP4 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 5 ng/L and as high as 50 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
