JAG2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein jagged canonical Notch ligand 2, which is encoded by the JAG2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in the differentiation of certain cell types. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 1238 residues and a mass of 133.4 kDa. It is known to be localized in the membrane and is found to be expressed in heart, placenta and skeletal muscle and to a lesser extent in pancreas. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. The JAG2 gene has been associated with the disease, Muscular dystrophy. Other alias names for this target include LGMDR27, SER2, protein jagged-2, jagged 2, and HJ2.
The detection range for different JAG2 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 3 ng/L and as high as 200 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
