CA11 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein carbonic anhydrase 11, which is encoded by the CA11 gene in humans. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 328 residues, a mass of 36.2 kDa, and is a member of the Alpha-carbonic anhydrase protein family. It is known to be secreted and is noted to be expressed abundantly in the brain with moderate expression also present in spinal cord and thyroid. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include CA-RP II, CA-XI, CARP-2, CARPX1, carbonic anhydrase-related protein 11, and CA-RP.
