ZBED2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein zinc finger BED-type containing 2, which is encoded by the ZBED2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a reported transcriptional regulator which has intrinsic repressor activity and which competes with the transcriptional activator IRF1 for binding to the 5'-[CA]GAA[AC]C[CT]-3' consensus sequence in gene promoters. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 218 residues and a mass of 25.1 kDa. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and is reported to be expressed in keratinocytes. Other alias names for this target include zinc finger BED domain-containing protein 2 and zinc finger, BED domain containing 2.
